is drakan build on the tomb raider (lara croft)engine
bcuz everything looks almost the same

drakan has an indipendent engine,and the only similarity is the main character,but try looking at the landscape,tomb raider is only made with squares and triangles while drakan has more complex poligons,there is a better dynamic light system(the shadow of lara croft is only a circle under her feet)and the texture are far better in drakan(look at the incredible wings of the dragon).
i am talking about tomb raider 2's engine,the third episode was programmed after drakan...

Drakan is using Surreal's very own RIOT engine. Just because they are both 3rd camera games, they don't have to share the engine...
