Howcome Acclaim went bankrupt then? Along with 3DO and many other PC oriented developing studios...

here is what i don't get: Midway was made rich and famous for a few simple things - excessive blood, gore, and hardcore violence
guess what? all of these things are at the very heart of Drakan gameplay!
therefore, it is logical to conclude that Drakan + Midway = the perfect match!
maybe one of you guys who is good with Photoshop etc. could create some flowcharts that demonstrate this concept, and then mail them to Midway!
and if the problem is that Sony stills own the IP rights to Drakan - i'm sure they'd be willing to sell them to Midway if the price is right (a dead property shouldn't cost too much, one would think!)

i find that very few games feature decapitations/severings and fountains upon fountains of blood like Drakan
yes they have blood and violence but not to the same extent
then again, maybe i'm just "out of touch" with the latest games since i don't play consoles and could be wrong about all this
in any case - i'm sure if Surreal made some concept art of the OOTF version of Arokh biting off some guys' heads - Midway would buy back the Drakan IP [:D]

For a neat decapitation, try picking up a Chainsaw on UT1 [:P] Of course, you can do it with a Sniper, or athe Reaper, but it ain't half as fun.
Messy remnants of human corpses, 6 rockets on a foe. You can try it at point blank range, and that'll make two messy remnants of corpses.
And yes, I was addicted to UT. Until my copy got scratched.
