Missing Items in Inventory

While I have just started my adventure, I have found items that I thought should remain in inventory (necklaces etc) however, when I go to equip them they are not there?

Any ideas???? Are they meant to disappear?

Yeah, they are supposed to disappear. Items such as those plus crystals, rubies, etc are classed as money.

when you get one of these items look in the top corner where you see you have gotten the item should say how much it is worth
