Draken Ancient gates Question

Im stuck at the part with the 4 skeleton faces. You have to press the skulls to get the door to open just past ravenshold. I almost am finished with the north place and what the hell do i do with the skulls. I heard its south, east, east, west, south, north, south. Which is which. I tried it with the map so north is facing up i tried it that why and it did not work. I tried it with the compass when north (arrow on compass facing north) and still not effective. ????

i did it once, i forgot the exact comination (you probulby could find it somewhere in these boards) i'm pretty sure you turn till the comapass is north (on the screen) and then press the one that faces north (or south or east or west)

yeah if you find the combination I think the arrow is supposed to point up if that does'nt work try it with the arrow pointing down I think that's how I got it
