Max Fog Distance

Ello there once more ^^

Is there a way to increase the max. fog distance over 100 % ?
(for example to about 1000 % percent ? or even more ?)
By editing the usual drakan.cfg you cannot influate anything =/

The command foghack removes the fog from the game but this has a impact on frame rate even on a fast machine. Type the command at the in game console which is usually the ~ key.
Developer mode may need to be enabled to get the 'cheat' to work.

kk just tried it out and looked good in developer mode even if there is still some fog left in the very far distance. Enemies and the landscape are/is quite well loaded. But sometimes you can see spawning fragments of the area in the distance (usually hidden and built up in the fog). Is it possible to tell the game to build up such things earlier ? (Or maybe its even possible to draw the whole lvl without any fog ?)

I'm not too sure if the whole level can be loaded at once. I doubt it though due to engine limitations and also the game was designed to be run on the average PC hardware at the time which was a pentium 2 with a 3DFX card. They used the fog to hide the pop up which also improved performance on average PC's.

you need to recalculate layers visibility table in auto mode for longer viewing distance at least or edit it manually... it may be done in Level Editor...
