drakan crash on vista

Hi,
I've downloaded Drakan and tried to play it on my hp laptop which runs on vista 32 bits.
but everytime I select new game, it crashes to the desktop.
does anyone have the same issue?

You say downloaded? I assume it's a pirated copy which could be your problem but if it isn't then you could try 2000 / XP compatibility mode for the game and if that does not work try starting it in developer mode.

well, you see, I had the cd years ago when I played it. but lost it, so I just downloaded it from isohunt, its a torrent.file. however, it doesn't work, so I don't know what to do...

There are patches here to smooth some things over.
Check the downloads section...
445 patch, isn't it?
